Filing Drawer Cabinet
A 465 × 620 mm body in two, three, four, and five drawer builds, all standard. Drawers run on telescopic slides and one key locks every drawer together. Made in Turkey in cold-rolled DC01 steel for A4 and foolscap hanging files.
One key locks every drawer
This is the question a filing cabinet buyer asks first. There is one central lock, not a lock per drawer, so a single turn secures the whole cabinet and a single key opens it. Nobody has to work out which key belongs to which drawer, and nobody leaves one drawer open because they were carrying the wrong key.
It matters most where a cabinet holds personnel or accounts files and the room is shared. One key also means one key to control, which is what a records policy is usually written around.
Four drawer counts, one body
The 465 × 620 mm footprint never changes. Only the height does, so a row of two drawer units under a counter and a five drawer unit against the wall behind it share the same depth and stand in line.

Fixing it to the wall
A wall bracket can be made for this cabinet, so it is bolted back to the wall and stays put whatever is open in front of it. On a five drawer unit at 1640 mm, with the upper drawers loaded, that bracket is what we would specify rather than leaving the cabinet freestanding.
Tell us at the order stage whether the cabinets are going against a wall or standing in the open, and we include the brackets with the quantity that needs them.

The four drawer counts are the standard builds. Body sizes, the color, the wall bracket, and any private-label branding are set with the order. Frequently asked questions
Do the drawers lock separately?
No, and that is the point of the design. One key turns a central lock that secures every drawer in the cabinet at once, so a room is left secure with a single turn rather than one key per drawer.
How is the cabinet kept stable when a drawer is out?
A wall bracket can be made for it, so the cabinet is fixed back to the wall. That is what we would specify on the taller builds, where the loaded drawers sit high.
Which drawer counts are standard?
All four. Two, three, four, and five drawer cabinets are standard builds, at 710, 1020, 1330, and 1640 mm high.
What size is the body?
It is 465 mm wide and 620 mm deep on every drawer count. Only the height changes.
What filing does it take?
A4 and foolscap hanging files.
Which colors are available?
RAL 7035 light gray is the standard, and any RAL is available on request.
How long is delivery?
Lead time is 15 to 20 days from order confirmation, and we confirm the date with your quotation.
